Happy February!  We hope you are enjoying this mild winter.  In the age of apps we thought it may be helpful to share a few free ones that we find helpful during our therapy sessions. 
  • Talking Tom: good for nonverbal children to vocalize or consider rate and/or pitch of speech for other students
  • Bla, bla, bla: good for volume and vocalizing
  • Magic Ink books: fun interactive reading
  • Grimm’s Fairy Tales: fun interactive reading
  • Autism Apps: a resource for anyone looking for apps for people diagnosed with autism
Continue to check your child's folder and backpack for  important speech-language handouts, homework, and newsletters that will be coming home.  The speech web page will be updated monthly, so check back often for new information and links to fun, educational activities.  

School will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2012  and Tuesday February 21, 2012 for Winter Recess, which is a revision from the original calendar.
